"Our experience at The Fort Ramgarh has been deeply disappointing, unprofessional, and outright shocking — especially considering we had guests staying for a family wedding.
Despite having almost the full payment already settled (over ₹17 lakhs) and only a balance of ₹2.6 lakh pending, the hotel staff switched off the lights and began harassing us while guests were still staying on the property. Instead of speaking politely, the staff behaved aggressively and ganged up, surrounding the family and creating an unnecessarily hostile situation.
The way they spoke — arrogant, rude, and boastful about “doing business non-stop” — showed that they have no understanding of hospitality. The manager, in particular with french beard ,was extremely disrespectful and continued raising his voice, even though we were calmly trying to manage the situation.
Their message was very clear:
“Pay every penny in advance, otherwise we will turn off the lights.”
This is unacceptable behaviour for any hotel, let alone one hosting a wedding.
Only after we made the remaining payment immediately did they turn the lights back on and start the arrangements. Treating guests — and especially women — in this manner is disgraceful.
Even before the function began, the experience was filled with stress, disrespect, and avoidable confrontation.
Beautiful property, but absolutely no sense of hospitality or guest respect. Would not recommend The Fort Ramgarh to anyone planning a wedding or large event. Their behaviour is unprofessional, intimidating, and completely opposite of what a hospitality business should stand for."

The message they conveyed was shocking:

Such behaviour is unacceptable from any hotel, especially during a wedding event.
Only after we immediately cleared the remaining amount did they switch the lights back on and resume the arrangements. Treating guests — especially women — in such an intimidating manner is disgraceful.
Even before the ceremony could begin, the entire experience became stressful, disrespectful, and filled with unnecessary conflict.
The food is worst, while at the breakfast time, their was no cups for tea or coffee, pranthas was uncooked, gulab jamun was burned, lack of wait staff.
The property may be beautiful, but the staff clearly lacks hospitality, courtesy, and professionalism. I would strongly advise against booking The Fort Ramgarh for weddings or large events. Their behaviour is unacceptable and completely opposite of what a hospitality business should represent."
