What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sunset Point Khandala is lauded as a hidden gem, particularly praised for its breathtaking views, especially during the monsoon when fog blankets the ghats. Visitors appreciate the peaceful ambiance and the humble cafe offering simple snacks and coffee. While the food is average, the magical views and the serene environment make it a highly recommended stop for a break from highway travel.
"A hidden gem
Found this cozy little spot while driving along the highway one rainy evening, and it’s now my favourite stop in Lonavala. Sunset Cafe isn’t fancy , it’s more like a small kitchen in the clouds , but that’s exactly what makes it special.
It’s run by a single vendor, who’s super kind and humble. There’s a nice little garden outside, and the view of the foggy clouds and hills is absolutely magical. The peaceful vibe makes it perfect for a quiet tea break with family.
I tried the corn pizza and sandwiches, both were tasty, and the coffee was warm and comforting in the rain. The fog rolling through the hills while sipping tea or coffee is something you just have to experience.
Highly recommend stopping here if you want a break from the highway rush and a moment of peace with nature."

"This is underrated and unexplored cafe i would say so far as I visit here 1st time and it was empty, but for sure the place is 100% beautiful you can enjoy the rainy weather plus khandala ghat.
The menu here will be basic but yea good to go. Prices are also minimum.
I ordered sandwich, French fries and coffee which were decent as per the place.
The only difficulty is parking as i have faced.
Must visit this cafe once"
