Reviews Summary
Basukinath Temple offers a deeply spiritual and serene experience, often considered a vital part of the pilgrimage circuit. Visitors praise the divine atmosphere and the unique sight of Shiva and Parvati facing each other. However, some find the interactions with priests pushy and are concerned about the presence of children involved in potential scams. The parking situation is also noted as inconvenient and expensive.
"Visiting the temple is a deeply spiritual experience for many. The temple, dedicated to the revered deity Lord Shiva, holds significant importance. The atmosphere inside often exudes a sense of tranquility and devotion. However, it's also a place that draws large crowds of devotees, especially during peak hours. Be prepared for some waiting time, as the lines can be quite long. Despite the crowds and the wait, the experience is often deemed worthwhile. The sanctity of the place is what matters most for those who visit. Overall, the temple provides a space for reflection and connection."

"Basukinath Temple is a must-visit destination after having darshan at Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar. Pilgrims come here to offer sacred water to the Shivalinga and pray to Mata Parvati. The temple complex also houses the Bhairon Temple and several other shrines, adding to its divine and serene atmosphere."

"Located at a distance of around 50 Kms from Deoghar this site holds special significance for Lord Mahadev. Although a lesser known place this site must also be visited when you visit Deoghar.
Although a bit less crowdy than Deoghar this place is good to explore. A pond is here in which you should bathe before starting your Pooja.
P. S. - Parking space is provided here for cars and they charge money ₹100 for it which I think is expensive considering it's a place of worship."
