"This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Siva. He is known as Sri Pushpavaneswarar and the Ambal is called as Soundaryanayagi Amman. One of the ‘Thiruvilaiyadals’ of Sivaperuman was done here. Said that this place is more holy than Kasi. This temple is made up of many beautiful sculptures. At the entrance we could see Sokkanathar and Thirumalainaicker. Sri Natarajar is beautiful here.
