What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Naval Aviation Museum for its well-maintained exhibits and the unique opportunity to get up close with historical aircraft, including stepping into cockpits. It's considered a highly informative and inspiring destination, especially for families and aviation enthusiasts. Some minor issues with Google Maps accuracy have been noted.
"Very informative and well Maintained Museum. There are many fighter planes and Helicopters whiche were part of Indian Air Force for a long time and now they are kept for the Public to get in hand and real experience of this magnificent machines. There is some error about the Location on the Google map, had to travel 3 kilometres back and get another route to reach here, so kindly check the Route before going there. there is also ample parking space available here. We visited on weekend and there was no rush at all. Our kids really enjoyed all the Aircrafts and the helicopters displayed here. You also get a chance to look and rome around one of the Helicopter and one Passanger Aircraft to get more personal experience about the Cockpit and how hard is for the Pilot to Fly such a big machine with endless number of Buttons and multiple screens and indicators. There is also a miniature museum about all the Naval Ships used by the Indian Navy which is also nice to see with all the detailed explanation about each and every ship. There is a Amphitheatre in which they show small short film about these machines which is in Hindi and English language, but due to some technical issues the film got stopped in the middle and we had to leave the auditorium. Overall very good museum for kids to showcase them our nation's pride and get in hand experience about it. A must visit place in your North Goa Trip."

"It’s a well made and maintained museum which gives a brief overview of our naval aviation strength. There is a small video presentation also which is a good watch for kids. There is a restaurant inside as well. Enough sitting space and easy access inside. 1-1.5 hr is enough for this place.
I would request all families visiting goa to save some time for this place and encourage your kids to appreciate your army."

"During my visit to the Naval Aviation Museum in Goa, I had the opportunity to explore India’s rich naval aviation history. The museum showcases a remarkable collection of aircraft, equipment, and naval memorabilia that highlight the evolution of the Indian Navy’s air arm. Walking through the indoor galleries and the outdoor aircraft display area was both educational and inspiring. It offered a deeper appreciation for the courage, discipline, and technological advancements that define our naval forces. Overall, it was an enriching and memorable experience."
