"Being an aviation enthusiast, visiting the Indonesian Air Force Museum made my day. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the planes that have been kept from the 40s until now, learning a lot about Indonesia's history in the process.
Some officers at the entrance were kind enough to answer questions I had about some of the planes. In terms of size and the number of artefacts, the museum exceeded my expectations. There seems to be a renovation in process where two new spaces will be incorporated, but there was no indication yet what the subject of these spaces will be.
Be aware that not all sections of the museum have translations, a few are only in Bahasa."
