You’ll find lots of fresh produce, meat, fish, and household items, but it’s not really a place geared toward tourists. The smells can be a bit strong, especially around the meat and fish sections, so be prepared for that if you visit.
That said, it’s still an interesting stop if you want to see real day-to-day life in Lombok. The stalls are bustling, locals are friendly, and it gives you a good sense of what shopping looks like away from the usual tourist areas. Just don’t expect cafés or souvenirs — this is the authentic, no-frills version.
