What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kertalangu Cultural Village offers a mixed experience, with many appreciating the natural beauty of its rice fields and jogging tracks, especially for early morning activities. However, some visitors note that it's more of a recreational hub with a golf driving range and pools than a traditional cultural village, with parts appearing less maintained.
"The key word here is former village. Now there is a decent modern swimming pool plus an older pool that I would not go in. There was a huge modern golf driving range with restaurants and other businesses. There's a dilapidated " jogging track" and a little kiosk with a young man who wanted to charge money if I was planning to jog on the very uneven and broken up cement and mud pathway. Honestly, do not go. This place deserves only one star if you happen to run into a couple of farmers who are harvesting rice and/or scaring the birds away from the rice fields."

"You'll find some remnants but the place is now a 5 star golf driving range.
So if you want to hit a few balls and have a nice lunch, by all means. Automatic ball placement, computer analysis of your strokes and table service food and drinks"
Jim
"A hidden tourism village at the city. The place has good views of nature, rice field, farm, etc. It's good for kids/students for their knowledge and experience. It has pool too, they wrote on board that they accept people for swimming lesson."
