"The traditional house of southern Sumatra is called rumah Limas. This particular rumah Limas in Demang Lebar Daun road is privately owned and open for public. People can go inside after paying a fee. You can also rent traditional costumes for an additional fee and then take pictures inside the house. The interior of the house is soooooo pretty. Very recommended to try when you’re in Palembang."

This house is traditional of Palembang and full of meaning. Inside the house you will see crafts and decoration of Palembang which usually used for wedding ceremony.
You also can buy souvenir, snacks, and clothes here. Interestingly, if you want to taste what and how Palembang tribe eat, you can book a meal package for group. But you have to book at least a day before."
