Many appreciate the free guided tours and the comfortable, air-conditioned environment. "It was a very fun experience!! You can get a tour guide for free if you show them your ticket and there's someone available to do it🙏🏼

The live video (the one about Damarwulan and Sumbu Filosofi) didn't have an English subtitles so it's a bit to bad for the international tourist who can't understand it. But otherwise everything is translated very well❤️ the interactive part is also very fun (there's an arrow shooting VR and gamelan game)."

"Loved this museum - it had a great selection of cultural items, plenty of explanations in English and lots of fun interactive ways of displaying the pieces.
There’s even games and VR on the fifth floor!

The AC was appreciated, and it was definitely worth the 20,000k fee (for foreigners). I spent about 90 minutes here

Staff were super friendly and helpful too."

Faith E

"A great experience! This museum is interactive. Staffs were great, friendly and very helpful! It’s actually my favorite experience on my first day at Jogja. I should have come come for the wayang as it was only played during weekdays"
