What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sumampan Waterfall is praised as a stunning hidden gem with unique rock carvings and a refreshing waterfall. Visitors appreciate the low entrance fee and the scenic beauty, though some note the steep stairs and loose handrails require caution. The river crossing adds an adventurous element to the visit.
"Stunning waterfall! 20k entrance fee but so worth it. As other reviews have said the stairs down are a bit steep, but there are rails to help and once you are down it is beautiful. Also very easy to get across to the waterfall using the rope through the river. Faces are carved into the stone all around the walls and rocks in the river - really worth checking out (also the cafes at the top - cheap and lovely too!)"

"A waterfall you have to do a bit of work to get to but it's no big deal + a decorated wall along the way, a rope to cross the current with but you won't be able to swim much there. There are 2 nice restaurants there to choose from on your way out though - They also accept card."

"Nice Waterfall with interesting wall carvings. Easy access, not too far but some steep staircases. Should try to build a better parking space."
