What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Arboretum Inspirational Gardens Kilquade, praising its recent renovations, extensive plant selection, and diverse shopping experience. The cafe is a highlight, offering delicious food, and the tranquil gardens provide a peaceful escape. While some wish for more Bonsai variety, the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive, with many recommending it as a must-visit destination.
"Fantastic garden centre, especially since they're renovated the entire place, most of it is now indoors and is very well laid out. Their range and stock is great as the seasons change. I'm personally always happy to see garden centres with a Bonsai section, but I'd like to see more and with better care guides.
Apart from plants, they now stock a huge amount of garden ware, furniture, decorations, and a clothing section too.
Lots of crystals (polished and raw) with handy guides on each, organic soaps, toiletries, and food too.
All the photos are of plants bought here over recent months.
Would highly recommend the Arboretum Kilquade to even those just slightly interested in gardening!"

"Great place for plants and gardening equipment. Fantastic coffee shop wirh hot and cold food. Good prices and great choices. We had the salmon sandwhich on homemade brown bread and the beef stew and the ham and potatoes and veg. Cheesecake was also delicious. Great shop filled with all sorts of things. I got some crystal stones. We also walked around the outside back garden walk and enjoyed the different art works around the path. Will be coming back for sure."

"Extensive garden centre, well organised with a great variety of plants. In addition to the garden centre there is a beautifully arranged store with everything from garden ornaments, candles, greeting cards, books, clothing, jewellery and much more. The café is well worth a visit too, besides cakes and scones you can have sandwiches, soups and other savoury dishes here. Staff is friendly and helpful. The gardens to the back are beautiful and tranquil.
There is a big car park to the front with easy, free parking."
