What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Cobh for its charming atmosphere, well-maintained buildings, and convenient train access from Cork. The town's connection to the Titanic and its picturesque, colorful houses are major draws. Some minor inconveniences include locked public toilets outside operating hours.
"We visited Cobn following the recommendation from a nice attendant from a place we visited earlier. This small town has a very nice atmosphere and its buildings are much better kept than in Cork. Interestingly, Cobn (Queensmary, at the time) was the very last port of call of the Titanic. Access via the cheap and clean train is fast and convenient, without the hassle of driving there. It is a perfect getaway from the surprisingly busy Cork."
Roberto Belchior
"Very convenient access to town from cruise berth. No cruise terminal. Trains to Cork located yards from ship berth regular service. Pleasant walk into main town centre and Cathedral. White star line info/ tourist centre en route. Wide choice of pubs and eateries. Well kept pavements taxis available from dock gates. Boat trips available. Floral planting and bench seats spread around. Not to much traffic. Pretty pastel colored painted properties. Not many high rise buildings. Public toilets available."
