The walk to the lighthouse is not just a stroll but a journey through local history.

Photography Opportunities
Beyond the lighthouse, the expansive pier provides a strong leading line, drawing the viewer's eye towards the horizon. The ever-changing moods of the sea, from calm and serene to wild and dramatic, offer endless photographic possibilities. Capture the textures of the waves, the patterns of the clouds, and the reflections on the wet pier.
For the best shots, consider visiting during the golden hours of sunrise or sunset, when the light is soft and warm. However, even on a grey, moody day, the dramatic skies can create powerful and atmospheric photographs. Drone photography can offer unique aerial perspectives of the pier and lighthouse.
