"Beautiful beach with a nice hike up the green fields surrounded with sheep."

"The most beautiful beach in Ireland I have seen so far. There are a few with that are highly ranked in the area but further about those, that's the one to go to...I am even reluctant to put a review about it to keep it more of a local secret and avoid too many tourists ;-)
The road to the beach is narrow and so beautiful. There is a car park at the end. There were a few surfers parked there but no-one surfing. The beach is very long and wide with this perfect white sand. The water can get a tropical blue colour although it is very fresh ;-) The dunes are majestic. The place is surrounded by very green grass perfectly mawed by the many cute sheep all around. Sheep are even adventuring themselves on some isolated piece of land that is only connected to the beach by a few rocks. Truly a great place where you can walk, relax, and have fun for quite a while."

"Best avoided, there is nothing here, no hotels and apartments overlooking the beach, no shops, no venders, no litter even. Just white sand, waves, a little seaweed and a view of the Atlantic ocean and the nearby islands. The road down is a bit of an adventure but with common sense and courtesy, everyone will get by. If you catch it near low tide (the best time), then there's a short walk from the carpark to the beach to finally remove you from almost all other signs of civilisation. Note that there is currently (2025) no lifeguard service here but it all felt very safe. One upside, there is a large rock in the middle of the beach which is really great for leaving your stuff on while swimming. Please leave this beach as you found it, hopefully pristine."
