"When we visited it had not rained significantly for a few days. Was able to go through a gate and descend the steps. As per other reviews you need a good torch. We saw the under ground spring and on the roof of the cave some fools gold. Good adventure for the family and used it for a chance to teach some geology to my kids."

"Very beautiful cave. Steep decent into it . Requires extreme care. Not suitable for young children. Gate is closed into it, so if you're going in its it your own risk! Follow the red route trail from Cong Abbey

"It's been shut down so there isn't much you can see really, it's a dark hole and some old stairs. The forest itself is lovely though and there are great walking trails, but don't go there only to see this cave because you will be disappointed."
