Reviews Summary
Lido di Arona offers a lakeside experience with grassy areas for sunbathing and pleasant views of Lake Maggiore. However, reviews frequently point out that the beach and water can be dirty and weedy, with some facilities appearing neglected. It's best suited for relaxation by the lake rather than swimming.
"Ratings are good but they are old. It is not possible to dive a toe as the beach is DIRTY like very dirty. The equipment is old and you just don’t want to water bath.
Though the grass band, you can have a sunbath and there are places you can have shadows as well. This part is fine.
Toilets are acceptable.you can also park quite easily very close to the park.
The sand beach and the water are just a place you don’t want to be .
Consider avoidance of this place"

"Showers, loos, a bar and swimming area. Could be cleaner, seems a bit neglected but still a good area to chill in the heat of summer."
Gerhard Geldenhuys
"No good for swimming - too shallow and weedy. To swim you need to go to the other beach."
