"Sanctuary of the Madonna del Lago, absolutely unexpected, I have no information but inside it is rich in altarpieces, stuccoes and statues. Interior cross-shaped and very large, externally it is positioned at the foot of the first hills of Bertinoro."

"A solitary and picturesque church, at the end of a long straight road, currently undergoing restoration. It houses a venerated image of the Madonna, whose history has been quite turbulent. Not bad for a day trip, a picnic, or a group outing with your scout or parish group."
Augusto Benini
"I had the opportunity to stop at this sanctuary today, as it was mapped by the creators of the Cser (Circuit of the Sanctuaries of Emilia Romagna). I didn't stay long, as I was on my bike. But the person I met, who was taking care of the large garden around the sanctuary (who was the Parish Priest Don Gabriele) invited me to enter.
The quantity and beauty of its stuccos and decorations immediately strikes you, as well as the size of the sanctuary: much larger than it appears from the outside.
The scenery of the hills is enchanting, with the town of Bertinoro dominating.
The place is truly worth it.
I will therefore return with more time available!!!"
