What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Brunico Castle MMM Ripa offers a unique exploration of global mountain civilizations within a historic 13th-century castle. While some visitors find the exhibit organization and lighting challenging, others praise its extensive collection and the stunning panoramic views from the tower. The castle's own history is also a notable feature.
"Ripa is an interesting museum featuring ancient relics that belonged to mountain nomad tribes from all over the world. However, the organization of the rooms is confusing, mixing continents, countries, tribes, etc... There is hardly any logic or sub themes behind the majority of the museum rooms; it almost feels likt they were randomly arranged. There is also poor displaying, such as objects and paintings placed in the dark, with no illumination whatsoever. Also, there is hardly any audiovisual content..."

"The previous day we visited Messner mountain Firmian and we were delighted, so we wanted to give an opportunity to this one.
The ticket costs 14 euros but is free with the ritten card.
The museum was super disappointing.
The locations were numbered but you cannot find any signal related to this.
The pieces organization seems totally random.
There are some dark rooms that you cannot almost see nothing.
There’s only one person working at the ticket entrance and another one in the shop. The place looked barely abandoned.
We did one hour car to see this but I can assure you Rios museum is not worth it at all.
Not recommended even with the free entrance."
