Reviews Summary

Visitors are drawn to the Cappella del Barolo for its unique, colorful artistic design and its picturesque setting amidst the Langhe vineyards. However, some recent reviews express disappointment due to nearby construction impacting views and the chapel's smaller-than-expected size. Weekend access can also be a hassle with road closures and uphill walks.

"Avoid this place! The road leading to the parking lot is closed to vehicles on weekends, and the 20-minute uphill walk is a major hassle. When you finally arrive, the venue looks significantly smaller than the pictures suggest, and it's surrounded by an eyesore of an orange plastic net. To make matters worse, a new construction project across the way is obstructing the view and ruining the aesthetic of the area. The surrounding neighborhood is also in disarray, with many damaged houses that look like they've been through a disaster. Trust me, you can find better alternatives. Don't waste your time!"

Coccinella

"Very disappointed. Ruined by massive construction project. Give it a miss. Very happy I saw it 4 years ago before the monstrosity that the family is building. Ruined a lovely unique stop. What a shame."

Julia Dickow

"Great to visit when you're in the neighbourhood but it's definitely not worth the hike up, therefore try to visit it during the weekdays so you don't need to park your car 1km before the chapel as it's going up the entire way."
