"Krumiri Rossi is an historic company/brand in Casale Monferrato. The main core product is only one cookie. A particular one that after several decades improved popularity all over Italy and abroad. Production is limited to the family kitchen/lab facility where the front shop is located in via Lanza.
Product itself is expensive compared with analog style/recipe but in large scale. It's unic flavor can be distinguished and will emerge from competitors or industrial mass-production.
Historical cookies are served in different boxes. The most beautiful and classy are the metallic ones (perfect gift); then cardboard box and by the weight (wrapped on paper) for personal use.
I normally buy few kilos and then split and air vacuum few small bags for long lasting time. It's possible to refresh old precious cookies by letting them few minutes in an electric hoven to remove any excess of moist. Cookie must be slightly crunchy and full of fragrance.
