"My name is Diego Patrucco and I live in Turin, my family is all from Casale Monferrato, both on my father's and mother's side. Last month, after a long time tied to the passing of our mother, my sister Tiziana and I returned to the Monumental Cemetery of Casale. Our grandparents, uncles, and great-grandparents rest here. Our paternal grandparents are in Casellario number 4, which has only been half-renovated; due to lack of funds, or so we were told, the other half is still unsafe. When will work resume to renovate it all? It is both a reason for the safety of visitors, and to best honor so many fellow citizens, who in their earthly life contributed to the well-being of the city!"
