"Love this place !"

"Ceglie Messapica was a real discovery.
A friend, who owns a small holiday home near Ceglie, had repeatedly asked me to visit him and stay at his little house so I could explore Ceglie. He also told me that once I'd visited, I'd fall in love with it.
Well, I have to say he was right.
Ceglie stole my heart. It's a little-known village, so far from mass tourism, yet at the same time, it's quiet by day and bustling by night.
Getting lost in its narrow streets is wonderful; you can breathe in the history, as it's rich in monuments, churches, and so much more.
Not to mention the food, which is delicious.
During my stay in Ceglie, I remember it was always difficult to choose where to go for lunch or dinner, as all the restaurants had excellent reviews, and the ones I finally chose proved to be worthy of them.
It's no coincidence that Ceglie Messapica has been dubbed "The Capital of Gastronomy." I recommend everyone visit Ceglie at least once, both day and night, and lose yourself, as we did, in its narrow streets. In my opinion, this is the only way to truly experience a place: by visiting, you end up losing yourself in its narrow streets, and thus admire its true beauty, not just that portrayed by the media or mass tourism.
I highly recommend it."
