"I was at the parish festival. Kudos to the organizers for the kids involved, but let's just draw a veil over the rest. I get to the cash register, check out the bill, which is standard fare, and sit at my table. They take my order, and shortly after, my appetizer arrives. No drinks or cutlery. I point this out, and after a while, a placemat and cutlery arrive. There's no drink, I start eating, and halfway through the appetizer, the drink is missing; I need a drink. I get up, a little upset, and point this out. In the meantime, however, they bring me the fried food, which I send back. Finally, water and wine arrive. Thank you. The fried food arrives, €13 for just over a pound of food, two slices of polenta. I ask for two more slices, they send me back to the cash register and ask for €2.50. You pay like at a trattoria, but you find yourself in similar situations. Kids are fine for clearing tables or carrying tablecloths, not serving, or serving under the watchful eye of one or more adults. I won't go there anymore..."
