Visitors are captivated by the unique, almost lunar landscape of the Deserto di Accona and its Biancane formations, especially during sunrise and sunset. However, some travelers have found the unpaved access roads to be extremely challenging and potentially hazardous, particularly for standard vehicles or motorbikes, leading to a less than ideal experience for some.

"Very beautiful landscape, presence of geological formations called Biancane"
Alessio Elisa
"It doesn't match the desert of Ancona. Furthermore, to reach the site you indicated, you have to travel along a dirt road with a very steep descent in terrible condition, with large potholes, rocks, and very deep ruts. On the way back, I fell off my motorbike and had to ask for help to get back on.
Not recommended."
