"I cannot begin to recommend the Fermeda Hutte enough. The family who runs the facility were the nicest Italian people we met in our entire two weeks visiting Italy. They were so accommodating and warm. The facility is absolutely amazing, cozy rooms that are well appointed, incredible views and exceptionally good food as well. Absolutely perfect.
And in response to other reviews talking about the price of food. Two things to consider - first, if you have been to any other major places in Italy, it’s not expensive and secondly, it’s on top of a mountain. The transportation cost to get everything to the top of a mountain would logically increase the overall cost. But in my mind, you get what you pay for."

"We did not want to leave and most definitely will be going back. This hut was just enough off the main path for us. You could park at the lift station and then ski to the hut. In the morning we headed to the ski circuit easily, and in the afternoon we returned to a BEAUTIFUL landscape of the Dolomite Mountains but with far less crowds. The food was absolutely amazing and the room was comfortable and very well taken care of."
