"Nice, historical area. Great place for a break on a hike. No uludag"
Christoph Gaida
"After a short walk through a beautiful chestnut grove starting from Marciana, you reach the Hermitage, the oldest place of worship on the island. Nestled in the woods, it's a great place to stop for a break, as the area is equipped with picnic tables. Unfortunately, however, it's not open to visitors.
Shortly after the hermitage, there's a fork in the road. Continue right along trail 101 to reach Monte Capanne, while the left, along a dirt road, leads to the famous Napoleon Fountain."
Giusy Fittante
"It's a short walk from Marciana. The current appearance of the church and the surrounding woods is a bit depressing: poorly maintained, dusty, rocky, and dead branches everywhere. There are picnic tables, but no water."
