What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Castello di Levizzano Rangone to be a charming and picturesque spot, particularly appreciated for its scenic location in the Modenese hills and the opportunity for a leisurely exploration of its courtyard and museum. While some note that the castle could benefit from more maintenance, its tranquil atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding vineyards make it a worthwhile visit, especially when combined with a scenic drive.
"Nice little town with a picturesque Levizzano Castle which you can see on the top of the hill on your drive to the town. There is parking available on the Piazza Giovanni Pablo II. There was no entry fee to the castle’s courtyard and a Museo del Vino e della Società Rurale was also free to enter on this day (it was a holiday, so maybe this was an exception). The castle itself is nice (would need some more maintenance), there are some restaurants there as well. Check in advance if it’s open for visits, but even if it’s not, it’s worth to see it even if just from the outside."

"Situated in the hilly countryside just outside of Maranello, this castle is located in picturesque village. When we visited there was quite simply no one around. Walked straight into the castle grounds and alphas a look around. Great views and ample parking."
Dylan Fallows
"The castle is situated, in the hills just outside Marenello . The local vinyards in the area produce Balsamic vinegar.
The village has three restaurants and a couple of coffee shops."
