He discovered how to mineralize cadavers, and inside the museum there are examples of both entire cadavers and anatomical parts, including faces, hearts, male members, and hands with four or six fingers.

"Passing by chance in Lodi I came across the old hospital. The external complex and the cloister are already really noteworthy. On the gate the sign of the free visit to the anatomical collection of Paolo Gorini. A single room, entirely frescoed on the ceiling. Display cases with indications of what is inside. You are transported to a strange world, made of organs, muscles, veins, skeletons and even newborns and entire mummified figures. The story is of this studious doctor who prepared these anatomical parts according to a study he invented and experimented. A gem discovered by chance that really left me amazed."
