Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Quadrilatero del Silenzio as a hidden gem offering a peaceful escape with stunning Art Nouveau architecture. It's praised for its tranquility and unique beauty, providing a refreshing contrast to Milan's busier attractions. Some note that it's more about appreciating the atmosphere and architecture than finding specific activities.
"Amazing to see flamingos in person. Although you can just look from outside of the fence, they are around 15-20 and they are quite active, so you can see them go with their day.
Just note that this is not the right address. We went asking around every hotel as everyone just kept telling us the direction, but it's not something you can easily spot. Go directly to this address so you don't lose any time.

"It was a bit hard to locate but the area was quite upscale. I guess it’s not everyday you see pink flamingos. You also can’t go inside, but you get a view of the flamingos through the “gates”"

"I found Federica’s tour on AirBnb, and we communicated through the website for where to meet and start the tour. She was punctual, professional, prepared, and quite funny. This was my first trip to Milan, so I wanted to learn a lot about the city. She was very knowledgeable about the area, and seemed to have a good relationship with the superintendents of the courtyards we visited which allowed us access. The tour lasted 1.5 hours with a short coffee break in the middle.
P.S. I do not speak Italian, but I was pleasantly surprised that Federica spoke English for me on the tour! It was very helpful for me, and made the experience better. You can find her on AirBnb as:
