"Great visit! The climb to the castle was actually easy though it looks high from the esplanade. The complex is huge but very easy to walk around and offers great views especially to Vulcano and Lipari Islands. There is stairs in most of the buildings but outdoors is paths. There are a number of nice restaurants directly outside. We spent approximately 2 hours just wandering around."
