"This is a delightful quaint restaurant on the top of Refugio col de Varda. It offers a family atmosphere with absolute stunning views 360° around.
They have a full bar at a decent menu. We just had espresso and cappuccinos here, but they were delicious.
Seems to be run by a cute family.
Behind the restaurant and the hotel is a nice hike up the top where you get even better views of the dolomites.
You must take a chairlift which is €15 round-trip to get to the top and back or you can do it as a hike for the day. There’s so much to see. I probably wouldn’t spend the time hiking it.
Definitely worth the €17 for the chairlift!
Check out some of these pictures. Words and pictures can’t really express the beauty of this quaint spot.
