Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Monte Bibele for its fascinating Etruscan-Celtic history and immersive experience, especially when accompanied by knowledgeable guides. The reconstructed huts and unique 'solar quadrant' are highlights, offering a tangible connection to the past. However, many note that the site is poorly signposted and can be difficult to reach, detracting slightly from the overall accessibility.

"I visited this Etruscan and Celtic site accompanied by one of the passionate and highly knowledgeable archaeological guides who supervised the excavations. It was an immersive and truly fascinating experience! I highly recommend it!"

Daria Messelodi

"It is a place that is not at all easy to reach, poorly signposted, but beautiful once you arrive. It is a Celtic Etruscan settlement on Mount Bibele: we went there on a Sunday with my husband and it was immediately like going back to our honeymoon! The route is well structured, well signposted and each sign has a QR code that, if scanned, allows you to have information in other languages. It is a real shame that the village is not well signposted from Loiano or other locations."

Sveva Stallone

"Immersed in a rather wild nature, it is however well marked and maintained in the viewing path. A real slow walk, with a few steps to reach all the corners of the site but still very nice. Explanatory panels, more than exhaustive and clear. The reconstruction of the huts on site is interesting and fully immerses the visitor who can use internal or covered parts although revisited, for safety reasons and, I imagine, for visiting groups. One must not forget to complete the visit with a nice marked walk in the park up to Quinzano, and a visit to the complete and well-kept museum in Monterenzio."
