Reviews Summary

Guests consistently praise the hotel's exceptional staff, highlighting their friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond. The historic building and stunning views are frequently mentioned as major draws, though some note the lack of an elevator and potential warmth in summer. Overall, it's considered a top choice for experiencing Montepulciano.

"This hotel is located just inside the walls of the city of Montepulciano, near the Porta al Prato. It is an old, historic building located over 4 floors. There is no lift / elevator within the hotel due to the historic nature of the building, so guests will need to take the stairs.
Our room. Was located on the top floor. It was designated a family room, having 1 double and 1 single bed. Everything in the room was in good condition. Because the room was on the top floor I imagine the room could get quite warm in hot weather. There is an air conditioning unit but the fan output is quite low. The bathroom was good and of a reasonable size.
The breakfast room was on the first floor. Breakfast was continental style and was very good.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
There are 4 parking places for small / medium cars. We were able to park behind the property. Otherwise parking would be outside the city walls after dropping off cases.
Overall, we enjoyed this hotel and would definitely visit again."

David Allen

"Excellent location, conveniently offering parking, comfortable bed/room/bathroom/shower (great given how old the building/town is). And above all, very sweet and extremely helpful staff. Seems like the best one could do in the town! It’s an historic building in a medieval town, so expectations need to be adjusted for such. Great stay."

Luciana Szente

"Wonderful stay here. George, Jan and Enrica are amazing and made our stay so memorable. The room was stunning with incredible views from the terrace, the room was very clean. Beautiful, historic building, could not recommend the hotel more the people made it for us and Enrica was went above and beyond to help us from booking a great wine cellar tour to reservations at a great restaurant to even helping us with our onward journey. If you come to Montepulciano, stay here ! This was for our honeymoon and we couldn't of picked a better place."
