Let’s walk the streets of Padova, Italy… The statue you see in the video is Equestrian statue of Gattamelata, sculpted by Donatello in 1400s. While we were there, there was an attraction for the kids and the entertainers told that the statue is pointing the way to good coffee 😅 I personally took that route many times 😁 And I have to say this as well - Padova was a perfect location for little exp...

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the statue as a significant Renaissance masterpiece and a key landmark in Padua, especially when viewed alongside the Basilica of Saint Anthony. However, frequent and lengthy renovations have led to considerable disappointment for travelers who arrive to find the monument covered, with some feeling the lack of timely updates is disrespectful.

"The monument is under renovation and completely covered. There is no date posted when the renovation will be completed.
It is very annoying, as the phone is to posted on Google Maps is not up to date, and makes one believe that the statue is uncovered.
If Gmaps can show which restaurant is closed and which is closed and at what time, and not be able to update the photo of a statue which renovation has been apparently ongoing for years.

Don't waste your time walking in the sun for kilometers for this. Wait until it is posted somewhere that the restauration is finished. Do your research."

Uros Markovic

"An important Christian sight, a beautiful cathedral that dates back to the 13th century. A must see here in Padova. I loved the fact that they have a pious policy about clothes."

Patricia Gheorghe

"Beatific statue here in Padua in front of the church. If you like this kind of stuff or if you’re study art, you should visit it"
