"A fantastic morning with Francesco, the best boat guide I've ever met: after all, a guide with two doctorates, one from the Sorbonne in Paris, isn't found every day. Impeccable explanations, both historical and marine. He accompanied us on snorkeling dives (he also has a GoPro for underwater photos and videos) and cave visits, entertaining us with his vast knowledge of the area but also, and especially, of the marine flora and fauna. Francesco is more than just a skipper: his passion and love for the sea shine through in his stories, and he conveyed all of this to us in just a few hours. If I were to return to Maratea, I wouldn't take another boat trip unless it was exclusively with him. A first-class honors! ;)"
