"We were there for our honeymoon and it was absolutely, indescribably beautiful. I am still gonna try, to put it into words, best I can:

1) Location
The resort is, as far as I understood, part of the land of the Impagliazzo family. They have another, second resort closeby as well as additional land where they produce their own vegetables etc.
Punta Chiarito is pretty high up on a cliff, overlooking one of the most beautiful bays I’ve ever seen.

2) Room
We’ve stayed in one of the higher end rooms, with a private pool part of the room. The cost for that is higher, but we’ve researched a lot for this vacation, and the value you get for your money even with those additional costs, is great. The room itself was typical oldschool Italian style, most importantly clean, nice and comfy bed, and a decent bathroom and shower. The only downside was the toilet, where the flushing didn’t really work well and we’ve had to flush several times each time.
The private pool as well as small porch was gorgeous. The evenings in the 24/7 natural warm spring water, were amazing. The view, the evening sea breeze - everything.

3) Food
We had breakfast and dinner included, and went to lunch at the restaurant, run by the same family, which is like a 2 minute walk away from the rooms, down some pretty steep steps. Generally speaking,, the food is, well - I don’t know what to tell you here or what you expect. It’s amazing, homemade, homecooked food. The lunch prizes were very decent, and more „homecooking style“ or rustic. The dinners were more fancy and included 4 courses everytime (I think. Maybe it was even 5), where the waiter will ask you every breakfast, what u want for dinner. We were almost always full after 2/4 or 5 courses.

4) Natural spring water / Pools
The resort includes several spring water pools. By far the best and largest one includes a cave you can swim into, where you can see the water bubbling out of their natural sources. It’s very romantic and has a very relaxing atmosphere.

5) Staff & their family made products
All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly, gotta mention Nicola Pagliazzo specifically though, he is a gem. He is the grandson of the founder of the whole place, who is still working there and seems to be just as friendly and full of heart as his grandchild.

Overall, what is Punta Chiarito Resort? Well, to us it was the perfect place for the relaxing part of our honeymoon. If you are looking for a place to have a relaxed vacation, to wind down and enjoy each others company (romantically or not), I’d say go there.

"I expected this to be one of the best weeks of my life, and it was. Punta Chiarito is a cosy, charming hotel in the most stunning spot I’ve ever been. It is run by a wonderful local family; every member of staff was warm and attentive. We were so well looked after that it felt as though we were farewelling friends by the end of the week. The owner, Nicola, is a smiley guy in his eighties who built this place from nothing forty years ago. He proudly toured us round the cellar showing off all the produce. His grandson, Nicola, was chatty and charming and took care of us at lunch every day in the cantina (you must eat here!), as well as Giovanni, Franco and Francesco. The service was excellent, outshone only by the incredible food. Mariano and Maria were wonderful at dinner every night, including taking care of our sundown negroni delivery to the room. The family’s farm and vineyard supplies a glorious array of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as wine and olive oil. We ate to our heart’s content all week - everything was amazing. We enjoyed the lovely warm pool, as well as the beach just below with stunning, crystal clear water and lots of fishes. The room was lovely, and equipped with all we needed for the week. The view from almost every corner of the hotel is spectacular. This is a truly unique spot. We are already planning a return visit."

"I stayed at the Punta Chiarito Resort for three nights with a friend as we had a wedding in Italy - we were really pleased on arrival at just how beautiful the hotel location is, the views are incredible, the resort is really spacious meaning it never feels over crowded, and the service was amazing. We were greeted by Nikola on arrival who was lovely and really took the time to make you feel special, as did all of the staff. We were staying in the annex building - which we were slightly nervous about having read other reviews about how far away it is / what the rooms are like, but we were offered a free shuttle service to and from our room which we took everyday and arrived quickly and was actually really quick and they arrived within 5 mins of us calling each time. The rooms in the annex were also really spacious and quiet which we wanted. The food and wine at the resort was amazing (especially the tomatoes which are grown on site and the olive oil which is made on site). We were looking for a really relaxing few days and it couldn’t have been better - everyone we met at the resort returns year after year and we will definitely be returning. :)"
