"I liked seeing the San Pietro in Vicoli church in Sestri Levante. This church was built in 1640 by the Capuchin brothers who were looking for a sacred place in which to take refuge to pray and welcome the faithful.

In reality, they only stayed there for 10 years, eventually deciding to move to a more peaceful place to devote themselves to meditation and their religious mission.

I am attaching some photos. Please put a thumbs up, a smiley etc... under the review or photos to encourage me. It's always nice to get nice feedback...

Enjoy your visit.

"The seventeenth-century church of San Pietro in Vincoli, originally the church of the Capuchin Fathers and then of the Company of Secular Priests of Sestri, is one of the most interesting places of worship in the historic village. The climate of spiritual recollection that it offers for personal and community prayer, together with the works of art of great interest that are kept there, make it a place to visit and experience. The commitment that the members of the Confraternity of Santa Caterina devote to the care and maintenance of the building is to be appreciated."

"The church of San Pietro in Vicoli is nestled in the alleys of Sestri Levante.
The façade is simple.
Unfortunately, I can't give it more than one star because it was closed."
