Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Greek Theatre of Syracuse for its historical significance, impressive scale, and stunning sea views. Many are captivated by the theatre's ancient architecture and the opportunity to witness live performances. However, some reviewers express disappointment with the presence of modern seating obscuring parts of the original structure and a perceived lack of detailed information on-site.

"Beautiful site near the heart is the city in then archaeological park. If you have time to stop in, this is totally worth the trip. Lots of other Art installations to see and excellent descriptions of each piece."

Navisha Maharaj

"Amazing place. The art work installation of sculptures was amazing.
The information about specific areas of the site was absent. The book shop was closed and so we learnt less than we could have done. My advice is to purchase/ research before you go."

Frankie Moor

"Unfortunately (when i visited), most of the ancient theatre was covered over by modern wooden benches and a stage which is such a pity! You could not even go down into the orchestra area. The views are great and there is a nice ancient fountain at the top. It's just disappointing that you can not see most of the ancient theatre, hence the average 3 star review. However, it is still worth a look if you're in the Neapolis archaeological park, which has loads of other great stuff."
