What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Trail 301 offers a beautiful and accessible route to the stunning Sassi Neri beach, praised for its unique dark pebble shore and clear waters. While the hike is generally manageable, the steepness of the paved path and the need for water shoes are common considerations. The availability of a shuttle service for the return journey is highly recommended by visitors.
"One of the easiest trails on Monte Conero with an accessible and comfortable beach. The trail starts shortly after the center of the town of Sirolo, a beautiful village to visit and with a beautiful view. Once you take the road on the right from the main road, follow it for a few hundred meters, and the trail begins again on the right. From the clearing with a view of the sea, you can choose the path on the left, a forest path immersed in the woods but wide and easy, or the asphalt road on the right that descends more quickly and comfortably but exposed to the sun. The beach is truly beautiful and the contrast with the blue of the sea is stunning."

"First you come to the parking lot. The cost is 11 euros for the whole day. You go down. The slope is quite steep, so you need to have healthy legs. The cost includes the climb from the beach back to the parking lot. I can't answer about the descent by bus, I know for sure that in the morning everyone walked down to the beach. The beach is clean, tidy. There is a cafe, a bar, but we did not visit, I do not know about the pricing and quality. Pebble beach. The bottom is clean, the water is transparent. I recommend slippers for corals, as there are a lot of sea urchins. Have a nice holiday everyone"

"I took the paved road to get to the beach; it's very steep. I recommend only taking it one way and taking the shuttle back. Don't cut corners on foot, as it's slippery."
