"The church is very beautiful! Built in the 12th century, it has been plundered and remodeled several times, but retains a strong presence of Romanesque and Gothic elements. The rare stone ciborium in the apse and the frescoes of the Umbrian-Sienese school are particularly interesting. The actual façade of the church is no longer visible, having been absorbed into the Palazzo Bourbon del Monte (16th century)."
