"I had a lovely stay at the San Domenico Palace. Too bad I couldn't stay longer without sending myself to the poorhouse. Although my room was on the smaller side and in direct line of sight to a restaurant balcony, the view was still spectacular. Even the bathroom had a great view. The Staff was super friendly and accommodating and the property itself is superb, however I think so much more can be done to the courtyard. It's a bit underwhelming. The breakfast buffet was also very nice, even though you pretty much have to arm wrestle to get a table on the balcony. No one seems to leave. The pool is also super tiny for the size of the hotel, especially since the beach aka all rocks, no sand, is not close. If you want a spot, go early."
