What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Oratorio di Santa Maria in Selaa for its spectacular coastal views and historical charm, often highlighting it as a peaceful alternative to more crowded destinations. The village of Tellaro itself is appreciated for its beauty and opportunities for swimming and exploration.
"We really wanted to see Cinque terre but just didn't have the time. So we chose Tellaro instead and it was a nice alternative for a quick evening visit and dinner. We enjoyed taking pics of the town and the Oratorio. Wished we would've had our swimsuits as you can swim in the small harbor, just be careful bcz some rocks look slippery. See my parking and restaurant review for this town."

"Nice view nice history and really enjoying area"

"The original façade of this sixteenth-century place of worship, now deconsecrated, still retains a certain charm.
Fortunately, after the requisition of the Royal Navy in 1940 to make it a military barracks, this oratory became the property of the Municipality of Lerici, which now cleverly uses it to host interesting art exhibitions.
And in front of the little church, stop for a moment and look all around to enjoy one of the most beautiful views in all of Liguria."
