Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Palazzo Delfico Biblioteca Melchiorre Delfico for its excellent study environment, featuring comfortable wooden workstations with Wi-Fi and power outlets. However, the library's extremely limited and often inconvenient opening hours, including weekend closures, are a significant point of dissatisfaction for many. Reddit+2

"Excellent place to study, equipped with wi-fi, ethernet sockets and power sockets (also schuko) for each workstation. The wooden furniture and desks are also very appreciated, combined with the large windows they create a very warm environment in which to work. The tables dedicated to the study area are not as many as those in a university library but they are sufficient, personally I have always found a place (and in fact there are always many left over).
The only flaw, perhaps, are the opening hours... those indicated on the Google card are correct, but if it really has to close at 5:30 pm in the afternoon it would be convenient if it were at least open every afternoon until that time, instead on alternate days it is only open in the morning (as you can see from the timetable)."

Emanuele Di Bonaventura

"It's inconceivable that the library is open so little. It's almost laughable."

Chiara Mancini

"Three stars for the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. But the hours are absurd for a public library—it should be open Saturday and maybe Sunday morning, and closing at noon reminds me of the 1970s—and finding the catalog online is very, very difficult. The open-shelf sections on international literatures need to be completed (I've been told the English and German sections aren't there). I'm not a light-hearted critic, and I'll continue to use the library, but there are many shortcomings."
