What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Torre Grande offers a beautiful coastal setting with a historic tower and stunning sunsets, complemented by a lively promenade with numerous dining options. However, some visitors find the beach cleanliness inconsistent and public amenities like seating to be lacking, with ongoing construction also noted. Despite these points, many appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the charm of the Sardinian coastline.
"I was very underwhelmed by Torre Grande and amazingly though they have this marvellous ancient Tower, there is no plaque explaining the story about it, for surely there must be one... perhaps they expect everyone to use the Internet to find anything about it.
Also, there are no benches anywhere to sit, unless the local beach traders have removed them so that anyone has to sit and pay in their plastic seats!
Sad really, so I'm walking back to Orestano Town, feeling, as I said, underwhelmed!"

"A long strip of beach overlooking the Gulf of Oristano with many restaurants and bars that overlooking the coastline. A great place to enjoy a piña colada at sunset."

"the beach is beautiful, and also the town itself is really cute. it's a sand beach and there are not a lot of people, even if it is a touristic zone. sadly the beach is a little dirty because it doesn't get cleaned. also the hotels next to destroy a little bit the atmosphere. for the rest it's really a lovely place to visit! 🌅"
