Reviews Summary
Ca' Dario is admired for its stunning Venetian Gothic architecture and its prominent location on the Grand Canal. While its 'haunted' reputation adds a layer of intrigue, visitors can only admire its exterior as it's a private residence. The best way to experience it is via a Vaporetto ride.
"Built in 1479 this palace was once painted by Monet and is supposedly both haunted and cursed. Many of its past owners have died or experienced financial ruin. The rumor is that it was built over a Templar Cemetery. There is plenty of information online if you would like to know more.
You can see the name of the house on the backside. But if you want to see the front, don't follow Google maps- make sure to go on the other side of the water."
Virginia Mott
"Beautiful house. Make sure to see it from the other side of the canal (ferry port). You can also see it from the Ponte dell’Accademia."
Laura Latkova
"Definitely infested with demons, highly recommend viewing from a distance"
