"This is a definite recommendation if you are in Verona and want to see beautiful local artworks. It's a former private collection with different pieces (paintings, furniture, bronzes,..) that has some stunning exhibits with an interesting history. I came here on a monday before noon and it was really quiet. I also liked that they gave me a guidebook in English and that the entry fee was really low (8€). If you want to visit a small and quiet museum and soak up some of the local history, you should come here."

"There is much to see in this excellent museum with examples of artefacts from ancient Egypt to the early 20th century. Furniture, paintings, sculpture, glass, ceramics, armour, etc. One family's collection preserved in a spacious restored palazzo. Particular favourites of mine were the devil's apothecary cabinet, and an amber and ivory altarpiece. The museum deserves to be busier. I was the only person visiting for most of the time I was there."
