"Beautiful and fascinating ancient church. Stop by when a docent is on duty. A,guided tour is nevessary to take in everything. San Giovanni is part of the New Jerusalem church tour of Verona."

"The most welcoming, peaceful and spiritually uplifting church we visited in Northern Italy, and that was a lot. (Did't have time to vista the South this time.)
Worth every step of the walk away from the tourist centre.
Grazie mille"

"Read the reviews but alas arbitrary closing schedules means you walk there to find it closed. Ang that means everything is inaccessible. We couldn't locate published hours that were held to. Disappointing. Nice faded fresco over the closed locked door."
