Visitors rave about Floyd's Pelican Bar as a unique and unforgettable Jamaican experience, praising the fresh seafood, 'irie' atmosphere, and the thrilling boat ride. "It was definitely an experience! The food was awesome, the atmosphere was great even though they were very few people there during the weekday we went, and the service from the staff was excellent. They made sure to get ice to make the daiquiri I ordered and made sure the credit card machine came so I could pay with my credit card. There was also a guy there that takes pictures that you could purchase which I did they turned out awesome and he was very very informative and nice!"

"So this place is really cool, you catch a boat to go there and then they cook your food in an old rim and who knows what else but the food was excellent and plated like a 5 star restaurant (don't ask me how they don't put there) anyhow your gonna need at least an hour and a half here or longer because the food took an hour but we just laid out back and napped. Prices are reasonable for what you get since the experience is worth a bunch on its own."

"Was told it was an island… it’s not a real island. More like a pile of sticks - man made. Not really worth it. Have to take a motorized speed boat ride. Bargained it down 35/ person from 50/ person. Takes about 30-35 min to get from the mainland of Jamaica to the place. Disappointing.
Snorkeled a little as it was listed as a great snorkeling spot. Not really. it’s of grass/ trash in the water surrounding…. No fish in the grassy areas. No coral reef. There was about 10 different types of tropical fish behind the structure though- in the sandy/ not grassy area. Would not recommend this place as a great snorkeling spot. More of a tourist trap. Not interesting."
