"This is a hidden gem of a neighborhood park.
There's a pond on the Hikifunegawa Street side in front, where passersby stop to soothe their senses and gaze upon the ducks, carp, and turtles.
The plaza in the back isn't small, but it's separated by cherry trees to a comfortable degree, making it suitable for casual ball games (suitable for elementary school children).
In the summer, it's like heaven, a place to relax and have a drink after work while it's still light out.
The splash pool next to the pond is a shame, as with the recent COVID-19 and heatwaves, children can't play there.
Lots of dogs are walked there, and it seems like a social spot, but please refrain from letting your dog sit on the benches. I often find myself wiping them down with a rag or tissue I have on hand, wanting to sit down but not being able to.
Not to forget,
There are trash cans, which are rare in parks these days, and the park manager always keeps the area clean. Thank you very much.
As a result, there's almost no trash scattered around the park.
Pigeons often come by, but I'm ruthless and don't feed them.
They keep complaining about how hot it is,
but I can no longer hear the cicadas chirping.
It's already autumn."
